Tolerton Bloodstock is a small family run business managed by Siobhan Tolerton, the daughter of the late Wilbert Tolerton. Wilbert was a Racehorse Trainer for over 30 years during which Siobhan had an active role in all activities. When Wilbert retired from training, due to ill health, he turned his concentration to bloodstock agency work specialising in sourcing horses in training and stallions for overseas clients including, USA, South Africa, Chile, Hong Kong and Japan.
In addition to her practical experience, Siobhan graduated from Queens University, Belfast with a Bachelor of Agriculture and from University College Dublin with a Masters degree in Equine Studies.
Siobhan has 20 years teaching and training prospective staff for the Equine Industry through her roles in Further Education Colleges and Training Centres. She is a fully approved assessor for NVQ Level II and III in racehorse care and management.
Siobhan, now concentrates her efforts on consigning horses for the leading bloodstock sales in England and Ireland. She is also a qualified Equine Neuromuscular Therapist and offers remedial treatments and rehabilitation for soft tissue injuries.

All major sales are attended from foal to yearling to racehorse and then to broodmare or stallion. We also continually seek out and buy horses of all ages for private purchase, as well as selling horses privately on behalf of clients.
